CFD NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF AIR DISTRIBUTION ON
DELAMINATED AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM IN A LARGE SPACE

Abstract It is pointed out that stratified air conditioning is good for energy efficient and thermal comfortable of large
spaces. So in this paper, one large space building with stratified air conditioning system is taken as a research object by
numerical simulation. The flow field of the two different air distribution modes is simulated, one is the traditional
central sidewall air supply mode, the other is the central sidewall air supply combined with air supply panel. The
characteristic of the flow field is analyzed. The research provides the basis for the improvement of the energy efficient
HVAC system and indoor thermal environment.
